Paper V Reference, Information, Bibliography and Documentation
Objectives
This paper intends to acquaint the students with the varieties of reference services for better utilization of the library resources and networking between different libraries and information centres. It also tries to develop familiarity with standard reference sources and information systems to understand the nature and purpose of such sources and to develop skills for compiling and utilization.
There will be two groups in this paper Group A. consists of Reference, Information and Communication Services and Group B. consists of Bibliography, Documentation and Information sources. Candidates should have to attempt five questions, selecting at least two questions from each group.
