BACHELORS' DEGREE IN LIBRARY SCIENCE PROGRAMMME

This programme is a whole time course of one academic year starting from the month of July in each  year. The objective of this programme is meant to impart knowledge, skills and training necessary for the effective organization and management of libraries and information centres to face with growing demand of users for information.

The course is designed to encourage students to develop their knowledge and skills in library and information science to upgrade the existing situation of libraries and information centres. The main purpose of the programme is to produce professional and skilled manpower needed for the country with some basic knowledge on information technology.
