THE DEPARTMENT

The department of Library Science is located on the University Campus of Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. At present the department is functioning inside the TU Central Library building premisess. Since, the establishment of this department in August 1995 only the teaching programme up to Bachelor's Degree in Library Science is carried out. The department has planned to promote studies in library and information science leading to degrees in M.L.I.S. and Ph. D. in future.
